Have you ever seen some of the Chicago headstone monuments in the famous cemeteries? They’re beautiful. I’m not sure if it was just the shape or the design or the placement, or maybe a mixture of all of those things, but it was nice. I wouldn’t write about how nice I thought a headstone was if it didn’t make an impact on me, because I mean, it is a pretty morbid subject and it seems strange to comment on how beautiful it was, but you know death is a part of life, so I’m writing about it. You have to figure that your headstone is a kind of like a type of legacy that is left behind when you pass away. People walk by it, and see it, and it has to reflect some of your personality in it, which is why I think I was so drawn to the Chicago Headstone Monuments. It was so distinguished and classic, and understated. Which reminds me of myself, and it made me think I hope I have such a beautiful headstone monument.
