Headstone etchings are a great way of creating a permanent design on the headstone.  I have seen some great images put on headstones that will permanently there while providing a great way to remember their loved ones.  There are many images that can be used for headstone etchings such as flower and angels.  If you have something in mind, you can see if it is possible to use that for headstone etchings.  On a pet headstone I saw a dog with angels etched onto the headstone.  I am sure that the image provided a lot of comfort to the owner in their time of grief.

I have also seen some great laser images etched onto the headstone.  This is great if you want to etch an image of the person onto the headstone.  I recently saw the image of Rick James on his headstone and it is quite the headstone.  This oversized headstone has some great examples of headstone etchings and what you can do with it.  This must be the way that Rick James wanted to be remembered and the phrase used and his real name are all great examples of what you can do with headstone etchings.
